Numberries was dreamed up by the owner of several pickup points. Here’s how it happened.
Early 2024. The owner of several pickup points in Russia saw the same thing every day: during receiving, staff wrote cell numbers on every item by hand with a marker. Hours of monotonous work, tired hands, mistakes from fatigue and illegible handwriting.
That’s when the idea was born to automate this process — to create a technology that would free staff from spending hours labeling items by hand for good.
The pickup point owner reached out to a developer friend. The task was ambitious: build from scratch an app that prints the cell number on a label on its own during receiving.
The app had to print the number without mistakes, work with printers that print from Windows and stay simple to use — so that a new employee could figure it out in a couple of minutes.
Development took longer than planned. But the result was worth it — we built an app that ends hand-labeling items with a marker. Today Wildberries, Ozon and Yandex Market each have their own profile, and CDEK, Avito and other pickup point systems work through the “Своя область” (Custom area) mode, if the cell number appears on screen in digits.
Now there’s automatic printing instead of a marker. Seconds instead of hours of manual work. A clear printed label instead of handwriting, and free time for important tasks instead of fatigue.
Numberries is actively developing and already available for Wildberries, Ozon and Yandex Market pickup points. We keep improving the app, adding new features and expanding what it can do. Our goal is to make every pickup point in Russia as efficient as possible.
